Bharti Airtel terminates tower sale agreement with Helios Towers Africa

Bharti Airtel, a leading private sector telecom company, announced Wednesday the company has terminated agreements to sale of tower assets in Tanzania and Tchad to Helios Towers Africa. Earlier, the company announced that it had successfully priced an issuance of USD 1,000 million 4.375% Senior Notes due 2025. Shares of the company declined Rs 6.6, or 1.57%, to trade at Rs 414.50. The total volume of shares traded was 13,157 at the BSE (9.17 a.m., Thursday).
