Bharti Airtel, a leading integrated telecommunications company, witnessed a declined in share price on Wednesday after the company disclosed a fall in consolidated net profit on sequential basis.
During the quarter, the profit of the company fall 12.61% to Rs 12.53 billion from Rs 15.05 billion on quarter on quarter basis.
Net sales for the quarter rose 0.87% to Rs 230.39 billion, compared with Rs 232.3 billion on quarter on quarter basis.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 397.60, down Rs 3.2, or 0.80% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 10:41 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 402.10 and low of Rs 390.70. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 164,964.
