Bharti Airtel witnessed a gain on Tuesday after Bharti Airtel and American Tower Corporation (American Tower) announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement, through Bharti Airtel subsidiary company, Bharti Airtel International (Netherlands) BV (Airtel), for the sale of over 4,800 of Airtel's communications towers in Nigeria. Airtel will be the anchor tenant on the portfolio under a lease with a ten year initial term.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 402.40, up Rs 3.75, or 0.94% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 10:04 a.m. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 408.20 and low of Rs 402.10. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 68,207.
