Bharti Airtel climbs on foray into solar power projects

Bharti Airtel, a leading private sector telecom company, witnessed a rise in share price on Tuesday after Japan's SoftBank Corp announced investment of USD 20 billion in setting up solar power projects in India in partnership with telecom giant Bharti Enterprises and Taiwan's Foxconn.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 432.05, up Rs 7.85, or 1.85% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 10:29 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 434.20 and low of Rs 427.00. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 72,981.
