Bharat Petroleum Corporation swung to a profit for the quarter ended December 2014. During the quarter, the company reported a profit of Rs 5,511.60 million compared with a loss of Rs 10,889.40 million in the same quarter last year. Net sales for the quarter declined 10.58% to Rs 579,145.10 million, compared with Rs 647,676.20 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share stood at Rs 7.62 compared with negative Rs 15.06 in the same quarter last year.
