Bank of Maharashtra, a leading public sector bank today launched "Mudra Card" for Micro and Small entrepreneurs to meet their credit requirement. The MUDRA Card was launched by S. Muhnot, CMD on the occasion of Bank's 81st Foundation Day Celebrations.

MUDRA Card issued as a Rupay Debit Card is hassle free flexible Credit Product that meets in working capital needs of Micro and Small Entrepreneurs and Cash can be withdrawn from any ATM or purchase from Merchandise using POS machine.

Prime Minister has launched MUDRA Scheme with aim to fulfill Micro and Small entrepreneurs engaged in all non-farm sector income generating activities such as manufacturing; trading and services whose credit needs are up to Rs 1 million. Bank of Maharashtra is offering MUDRA loans at competitive rates @ Base Rate and no processing charges are levied for the loans up to Rs 5.00 lakh. 

Shares of the bank declined Rs 0.2, or 0.57%, to trade at Rs 34.80. The total volume of shares traded was 3,643 at the BSE (2.22 p.m., Wednesday).
