Bajaj Electricals bags orders worth Rs 845.4 mn

Bajaj Electricals, consumer electrical equipment manufacturing company based in Mumbai, has bagged three new orders from Odisha Power Transmission Corporation (OPTCL) worth Rs 845.4 million.

The company bagged order worth Rs 280 million for construction of 2x20 MVA 132/33KV substation at 'Tusura' in Bolangir district and associated 132KV LILO line from existing Bolangir-Saintala line on turnkey basis.

Also the company bagged another contract worth Rs 312.7 million for construction of 2x20 MVA 132/33KV substation at 'Ghens' in Baragarh district and associated 132KV transmission line form proposed 220/132/33KV Baragarh substation on turnkey basis.

It has also the bagged order worth Rs 252.7 million for construction of 132KV SC line from 132/33KV Kesinga Grid substation to 132/33KV Junagarh Grid substation with construction of feeder bays at each substation on turnkey basis.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.05, or 0.02%, to trade at Rs 279.30. The total volume of shares traded was 108,671 at the BSE (2.30 p.m., Thursday).
