Bajaj Auto, one of the leading 2 and 3 wheeler makers, announced a marginal rise of 0.18% in sales to 3,86,017 units in October compared to 3,67,815 units sold in last year period. Motorcycle sales has also decreased by 3% from a year ago to 3,36,923 units, while commercial vehicle sales were up 33% to 49,094 units.
In the month of September, Bajaj Auto announced a rise of 9% in sales to 3,99,450 units in September compared to 3,67,815 units sold in last year period. Motorcycle sales has also increased by 7% from a year ago to 3,47,010 units, while commercial vehicle sales were up 19% to 52,440 units.
Shares of the company declined Rs 32.75, or 1.26%, to trade at Rs 2,576.30. The total volume of shares traded was 5,873 at the BSE (10.25 a.m., Monday).
