Bajaj Auto, one of the leading 2 and 3 wheeler makers, witnessed a fall in share price on Friday after it announced a marginal fall of 3% in sales to 2,89,244 units in December compared to 2,97,776 units sold in last year period.
Motorcycle sales has also decreased by 6% from a year ago to 2,46,233 units, while commercial vehicle sales were up 16% to 43,011 units.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 2,458.00, up Rs 19.55, or 0.80% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday at 10:03 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 2,475.20 and low of Rs 2,434.00. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 4,870.
