Bajaj Auto bags order to supply 1.25 lakh units of Discover

Bajaj Auto, one of the leading 2 and 3 wheeler makers, said Tuesday the company has secured repeat order to supply 1,25,000 units of Discover-125M motorcycles from Sri Lanka. The company expects to execute the order in next 3 to 4 months.

Earlier, the company had bagged an order to supply 50,000 units of Discover-125M motorcycles through its distributor David Pieris Motor Company in Sri Lanka after a detailed evaluation process by the Government of Sri Lanka. It has already supplied 48,000 units successfully against this Order.

Shares of the company gained Rs 30.8, or 1.25%, to trade at Rs 2,504. The total volume of shares traded was 2,622 at the BSE (9.56 a.m., Tuesday).
