Axis Bank announced that the bank has allotted senior notes aggregating to USD 55 million under the MTN Programme through its Hong Kong branch.

Recently, the bank has allotted 4,19,128 equity shares of Rs 2 each pursuant to exercise of options under its ESOP Scheme.

The paid up share capital of the bank will accordingly increase from Rs 4,73,18,76,830 to Rs 473,27,15,086.

Shares of the bank declined Rs 3.5, or 0.61%, to trade at Rs 567.50. The total volume of shares traded was 159,027 at the BSE (12.13 p.m., Wednesday).
