AVT Natural Products announced that the capacity of the instant tea plant, has been increased from 600 MT per annum to 1000 MT per annum with an investment of Rs 46 million. The tea plant is located at the company's existing factory at South Vazhakulam, Marampilly Post, Aluva, Kerala.

Similarly, the capacity of the 'Caffeine plant' at the above location was increased from 14 MT per annum to 50MT per annum with an investment of Rs.36.5 million.

Shares of the company gained Rs 1.55, or 4.79%, to trade at Rs 33.90. The total volume of shares traded was 19,422 at the BSE (1.59 p.m., Monday).
