Aurobindo Pharma said that the compensation committee of the company has made allotment of 1,86,354 equity shares of Re1 each under ESOP-2006 scheme of the company.

Consequent to the allotment, the paid up share capital of the company has increased from 29,17,95,921 equity shares of Re1 each to 29,19,82,275 equity shares of Re1 each.

Shares of the company gained Rs 26.3, or 2.37%, to trade at Rs 1,138.00. The total volume of shares traded was 64,979 at the BSE (2.25 p.m., Thursday).
