Atul disclosed a sharp drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 17.67% to Rs 537.10 million from Rs 652.40 million in the same quarter previous year. Net sales for the quarter rose 5.93% to Rs 6,271.20 million, compared with Rs 5,920 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 18.11, registering 17.68% decline over previous year period.
