Ashoka Buildcon, engaged in building and operating road and bridge projects in India, announced that one of its SPVs, Ashoka Sambalpur Baragarh Tollway, has received provisional completion certificate for its National Highway project. The project is for four laning of Sambalpur-Baragarh-Orissa/Chattisgarh border section of NH-6 KM to KM 88 (Length 88 KM) in the State of Orissa to be executed on BOT (Toll) project on DBFOT pattern under NHDP Phase III.
The toll collection has commenced from midnight of Oct. 01, 2014 (for 73.30 km length of project highway). The total concession period is 30 years including construction period of 30 months.
Shares of the company gained Rs 0.9, or 0.67%, to trade at Rs 135. The total volume of shares traded was 2,625 at the BSE (12.04 p.m., Wednesday).
