Ashoka Buildcon, engaged in building and operating road and bridge projects, witnessed a rise in share price on Thursday after the company has received Letter of Award (LoA) from Mumbai-JNPT Port Road, a SPV of National Highways Authority of India. The accepted bid value is Rs 4.14 billion.
The company bagged the project viz. construction of NH-4B from Km 21.200 to Km 27.270 (D to E Section) and from Km 0.000 to Km 4.492 (D to G Section) of JNPT Phase - II (Package - IV) on EPC Basis.
Shares of Ashoka Buildcon are trading at Rs 169.90, up Rs 5.5, or 3.35% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 10:29 a.m.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 144.67% to 439,797 compared with 22-day average volume of 179,750.
