Asahi India Glass disclosed a sharp rise in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended March 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 3.67 times to Rs 186.80 million from Rs 50.90 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter declined marginally 4.31% to Rs 5,268.70 million, compared with Rs 5,505.80 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 0.74, registering 2.96 times growth over previous year period.
