Apollo announces Sanofi's investment into Apollo Sugar Clinics

Apollo Health and Lifestyle (AHLL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise today announced that Sanofi-Synthelabo (India) has invested into Apollo Sugar Clinics (ASCL).

Apollo Sugar is a disease management clinic focused on providing high quality, integrated care across its clinics for people with diabetes.

An amount of Rs 900 million is being invested by Sanofi-Synthelabo in this venture through a combination of primary and secondary funding.

Shares of the company declined Rs 22.60, or 1.67%, to trade at Rs 1,334 at the BSE (Friday).
