Bajaj Auto through its distributor David Pieris Motor Company has bagged an order for 1.25 lakh units of Discover-125M motorcycles from Sri Lankan government. The order would be executed over the next three to four months enabling the company to maintain double digit volume growth in export markets. We maintain our positive view on Bajaj Auto with price target of Rs 2,678.
Commenting on the same, Bharat Gianani, research analyst, automobile, Angel Broking, said, ''However in the two wheeler space, we prefer Hero Motocorp over Bajaj Auto, given Hero's capacity expansion in the fast growing scooter segment and entry into newer export markets enabling it to outgrow Bajaj.''
