Alfa Transformers has received letter of award valuing Rs 171.1 million approximately from Uttar Gujarat Vij Company for supply of 1594 nos. of 3 phase 63 KVA and 100 KVA Amorphous Distribution Transformers.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till Aug. 14, 2018, rising 14.13% compared with the Sensex's 3.59% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 10.45% as against 6.46% rise in the Sensex.

Shares of the company declined Rs 1.5, or 4.22%, to trade at Rs 34.05. The total volume of shares traded was 1,341 at the BSE (12.16 p.m., Thursday).
