Ahluwalia Contracts wins orders worth Rs 1.78 bn

Ahluwalia Contracts, engaged in construction business, has secured new orders aggregating to Rs 1.78 billion for construction of housing project including finishing and electrical works.

New aggregating order in first half of the financial years 2014-15 are Rs 7.93 billion. Unexecuted order book as on Sept. 30, 2014 for Rs 33.50 billion.

The company has entered into technical collaboration with M/s KUB Story Russia for high speed precast construction using KUB 2.5 technology. The technology aids in high speed construction of structure using patented precast system.

Shares of the company declined Rs 2.25, or 1.47%, to settle at Rs 151. The total volume of shares traded was 6,078 at the BSE (Wednesday).
