3i Infotech, a global provider of IT solutions, witnessed a sharp rise in share price on Wednesday after selling stake units in the overseas units. The 3i Infotech (Western Europe) Group, a step down subsidiary of the company, has signed an agreement to sell 3i Infotech (Western Europe) and 3i Infotech (Flagship-UK) to Objectway Financial Software, which is a provider of wealth management and digital software solutions in EMEA.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 8.26, up Rs 0.59, or 7.69% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 12:07 p.m.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 8.95 and low of Rs 8.05. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 1,038,896.
