The international crude oil price of Indian basket gained 0.48% to USD 45.64 a barrel (bbl) on June 28, 2017 as against USD 45.42 a bbl on June 27, 2017.

In rupee terms, the price of Indian basket increased to Rs 2,944.93 a bbl on June 28, 2017 as compared to Rs 2,927.78 a bbl on June 27, 2017.

Rupee closed weaker at Rs. 64.53 per USD on June 28, 2017 as against Rs. 64.46 per USD on June 27, 2017.

Local stock markets bounced back on Thursday snapping earlier losses. At 11.36 a.m, the Sensex was trading up 191.21 points or 0.62% at 31,025.53 with 25 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 62.25 points or 0.66% at 9,553.50 with 42 components gaining.
