The international crude oil price of Indian basket gained 1.01% to USD 49.91 a barrel (bbl) on March 28, 2017 as against USD 49.41 a bbl on March 27, 2017.

In rupee terms, the price of Indian basket increased to Rs 3,248.46 a bbl on March 28, 2017 as compared to Rs 3,215.78 a bbl on March 27, 2017.

Rupee closed at Rs. 65.09 per USD on March 28, 2017.

Local stock markets continued to rally for the second day on Wednesday. At 10.57 a.m, the Sensex was trading up 65.66 points or 0.22% at 29,475.18 with 19 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 18.80 points or 0.21% at 9,119.60 with 33 components gaining.
