The international crude oil price of Indian basket declined 0.16% to USD 49.41 a barrel (bbl) on March 27, 2017 as against USD 49.49 a bbl on March 24, 2017.

In rupee terms, the price of Indian basket decreased to Rs 3,215.78 a bbl on March 27, 2017 as compared to Rs 3,239.41  a bbl on March 24, 2017.

Rupee closed stronger at Rs 65.09 per USD on March 27, 2017 as compared to Rs 65.46 per USD on March 24, 2017.

Local stock markets bounced back on Tuesday snapping earlier losses. At 1.02 p.m, the Sensex was trading up 172.55 points or 0.59% at 29,409.70 with 22 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 58.35 points or 0.65% at 9,103.55 with 39 components gaining.
