The international crude oil price of Indian basket declined 0.74% to USD 49.72 a barrel (bbl) on March 14, 2017 as against USD 50.09 a bbl on March 13, 2017.

In rupee terms, the price of Indian basket decreased to Rs 3,290.23 a bbl on March 14, 2017 as compared to Rs 3,340.61 a bbl on March 13, 2017.

Rupee closed stronger at Rs 66.18 per USD on March 14, 2017 as compared to Rs 66.69 per USD on March 13, 2017.

Local stock markets dropped on Wednesday erasing earlier gains. At 11.44 a.m, the Sensex was trading down 6.45 points or 0.02% at 29,436.18 with 13 components falling. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 4.45 points or 0.05% at 9,091.45 with 30 components gaining.
