The international crude oil price of Indian basket declined 2.97% to USD 51.66 a barrel (bbl) on April 20, 2017 as against USD 53.24 a bbl on April 19, 2017.

In rupee terms, the price of Indian basket decreased to Rs 3,339.11 a bbl on April 20, 2017 as compared to Rs 3,436.26 a bbl on April 19, 2017.

Rupee closed weaker at Rs. 64.64 per USD on April 20, 2017 as against Rs. 64.54 per USD on April 19, 2017.

Local stock markets continued to gain for the third day on Friday. At 12.49 p.m, the Sensex was trading up 15.30 points or 0.05% at 29,437.69 with 14 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading lower by 12.05 points or 0.13% at 9,124.35 with 28 components falling.
