The international crude oil price of Indian basket declined 1.92% to USD 50.09 a barrel (bbl) on March 13, 2017 as against USD 51.07 a bbl on March 10, 2017.

In rupee terms, the price of Indian basket decreased to Rs 3,340.61 a bbl on March 13, 2017 as compared to Rs 3,405.47 a bbl on March 10, 2017.

Rupee closed at Rs. 66.69 per USD on March 13, 2017.

Local stocks markets continued to rally for the third day on Tuesday. At 11.53 a.m, the Sensex was trading up 484.74 points or 1.67% at 29,430.97 with 26 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 142.85 points or 1.60% at 9,077.40 with 44 components gaining.
