Somany Ceramics' subsidiary company, Somany Sanitary Ware, has successfully completed the expansion of its sanitaryware plant and commenced the commercial production from April 26, 2017.

As a result of this expansion, the capacity of plant has increased from 3.03 lakh pieces per annum to up to 11.50 lakh (1.15 million) pieces per annum.

Somany Ceramics is a pioneering manufacturer, supplier and exporter of Floor Tiles, Wall Tiles, Sanitary Ware including urinals, basins, etc. Somany strives to bring its customers floor, wall, vitrified, ceramic, porcelain and innovative tiles that are the very latest in the world.

Shares of the company gained Rs 5.15, or 0.71%, to trade at Rs 730.00. The total volume of shares traded was 994 at the BSE (10.36 a.m., Thursday).
