Unichem Laboratories has received final ANDA approval for its Montelukast Chewable Tablets, 4 mg and 5 mg from the USFDA to market a generic version of Merck Sharp & Dohme Corporation's Singulair Tablets, 4 mg and 5 mg.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Jul. 03, 2018, falling 4.55% compared with the Sensex's 0.16% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 16.04% as against 6.02% rise in the Sensex.

Shares of the company gained Rs 6.7, or 2.84%, to trade at Rs 242.95. The total volume of shares traded was 14,048 at the BSE (3.00 p.m., Wednesday).
