UltraTech Cement has commissioned the second unit of 1.75 mtpa cement grinding capacity at Manavar District - Dhar, Madhya Pradesh.

The company's total cement manufacturing capacity now stands at 92.5 mtpa and with the other on-going capacity expansions, the Company's cement manufacturing capacity will stand augmented to 96.5 mtpa.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till Jun. 28, 2018, rising 2.41% compared with the Sensex's 0.36% decline. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 4.87% as against 6.28% rise in the Sensex.

Shares of the company gained Rs 23.7, or 0.63%, to trade at Rs 3,766.60. The total volume of shares traded was 2,172 at the BSE (10.59 a.m., Friday).
