Texmaco Rail & Engineering has received an order for 1621 wagons valuing Rs 5 billion (approx.) against the recent Railway tender for wagons issued by the Indian Railways, part quantity of which has been finalised till now.
The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Dec. 21, 2018, falling 5.42% compared with the Sensex's 1.54% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 16.81% as against 2.98% fall in the Sensex.
Shares of the company gained Rs 0.5, or 0.85%, to trade at Rs 59.05. The total volume of shares traded was 4,377 at the BSE (9.38 a.m., Monday).
