Sumeet Industries, a manufacturer of polyester yarn, polypropelene yarn and woven fabrics, said the company has successfully commissioned 3,500 TPA capet yarn manufacturing plant. It has also started commercial production from the new capet yarn unit.
"This is a valued added product and add an additional revenue of Rs. 750 million in the top line of the company," the company said.
The company will export 90% of the production of carpet yarns to overseas buyers. "This will add a substantial amount of profit in its total earnings. The company is in the process of exploring and adding some more value added category of yarns in its product basket," the company said.
