OM Metals Infraprojects has agreed to acquire remaining 50% shareholding of Om Metals-SPML Infraprojects thereby making the company as its wholly owned subsidiary.
This acquisition will help the company to carry on the EPC business of turnkey construction contracts comprising of civil structures, Engineering, procurement, manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning contracts for Hydro-mechanical equipments.
The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Dec. 05, 2017, falling 6.14% compared with the Sensex's 2.62% decline. It outperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 27.20% as against 3.12% rise in the Sensex.
Shares of the company gained Rs 0.65, or 0.97%, to trade at Rs 67.95. The total volume of shares traded was 2,413 at the BSE (9.50 a.m., Wednesday).
