NTPC, the country's largest power producer, has commissioned 20MW of Bhadla Solar Power Project. With this, the commissioned capacity of Bhadla Solar Power Project, NTPC and NTPC group has become 205 MW, 41927 MW and 48893 MW respectively.

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 89.92% to 598,875 compared with 22-day average volume of 5,942,764.

NTPC is an Indian central Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, engaged in the business of generation of electricity and allied activities.

Shares of the company gained Rs 2.05, or 1.28%, to trade at Rs 162.75. The total volume of shares traded was 29,672 at the BSE (10.41 a.m., Thursday).
