NCC has received four new orders totalling to Rs 10.85 billion in the month of March 2018. Out of these, one order of Rs 3.44 billion pertains to water and environment division and there orders total Rs 7.41 billion pertain to electrical division.
The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Apr. 03, 2018, falling 8.27% compared with the Sensex's 1.99% decline. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 8.20% as against 1.25% fall in the Sensex.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1.3, or 1.02%, to trade at Rs 128.25. The total volume of shares traded was 266,574 at the BSE (12.47 p.m., Wednesday).
