Pharma major Lupin announced the completion of the United States Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) inspection at its Goa manufacturing facility. The inspection was carried out between January 28 to February 8, 2019.

The inspection at the Goa facility closed with 2 observations. The observations are procedural in nature and the company is confident of addressing them satisfactorily.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Feb. 08, 2019, rising 0.10% compared with the Sensex's 1.57% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 3.60% as against 3.71% rise in the Sensex.

Shares of the company declined Rs 4.4, or 0.53%, to trade at Rs 826.00. The total volume of shares traded was 12,465 at the BSE (9.34 a.m., Monday).
