Larsen & Toubro (L&T), an engineering and construction conglomerate, announced that L&T Construction has won new orders worth Rs 17.11 billion across various business segments in March 2015.

The business has secured orders worth Rs 8.80 billion including add-ons. The business has secured orders worth Rs 6.76 billion.

Additional order worth Rs 1.55 billion has been won by L&T Construction's Water & Renewable Energy Business.

Shares of the company gained Rs 24.5, or 1.5%, to trade at Rs 1,660.50. The total volume of shares traded was 39,361 at the BSE (10.17 a.m., Friday).
