The construction arm of L&T has secured orders worth Rs 12.55 billion across various business segments in March 2015.

The Buildings & Factories Business of the company has secured a major order worth Rs 8.25 billion from a premium developer in Bengaluru.

The Power Transmission & Distribution Business has secured new orders worth Rs 4.30 billion from the domestic markets.

Shares of the company gained Rs 34.2, or 2.01%, to trade at Rs 1,734.85. The total volume of shares traded was 58,322 at the BSE (10.02 a.m., Thursday).
