Kalpataru Power receives new orders worth Rs 12 bn

Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL), a leading global EPC player in the power & infrastructure contracting sector has secured new orders/notification of award of Rs 12 billion.

The company has bagged the transmission line turnkey project by Transmission Corporation of Telangana (TSTRANSCO), Hyderabad of Rs 4.02 billion. Railway infrastructure construction project in Hyderabad (Telangana) for Railways Vikas Nigam (RVNL) of Rs 4.64 billion. The project is awarded to a JV consortium of KPTL, JMC and STS. Transmission line turnkey project in Abu Dhabi of Rs 3.36 billion.
 
Manish Mohnot, Managing Director & CEO, KPTL said, ''We continued our thrust on profitable growth with orders across all business segments. Our current order book provides good visibility of achieving 15-20% growth in next year. We continue to build our portfolio of projects in railways EPC sector, which will be a key growth driver going forward.''

Shares of the company gained Rs 17.85, or 6.16%, to trade at Rs 307.70. The total volume of shares traded was 64,413 at the BSE (12.57 p.m., Wednesday).
