JET Airways introduces 12 additional domestic frequencies

Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, introduces over 12 additional daily frequencies on domestic routes as part of its winter schedule effective Dec. 23, 2014. The airline will deploy wide body Airbus A330 and narrow body Boeing 737 aircraft to meet the heavy demand during the ensuing festive season.  
 
On selected routes, with high demand expected this festive season, Jet Airways will operate its wide body Airbus A330 services on the Delhi-Bengaluru-Delhi and the Delhi-Chennai-Delhi sectors. These wide body services will commence operations from Dec. 23, 2014 up until Jan. 29, 2015.
 
The airline has also introduced an additional Boeing 737 flight on the Chennai-Kochi-Chennai sector. Similarly services have been increased on the Mumbai-Kolkata-Mumbai and the Mumbai-Goa-Mumbai sectors this festive season.
 
Jet Airways' will also operate additional daily ATR services on the Delhi-Udaipur-Delhi starting Dec. 23, 2014 till Jan. 31, 2015.
 
Additionally due to operational reasons, Jet Airways will operate Boeing 737 aircraft on the Delhi-Indore-Delhi sector instead of ATR services.

Shares of the company gained Rs 9.15, or 2.26%, to trade at Rs 413.30. The total volume of shares traded was 300,186 at the BSE (10.45 a.m., Friday).
