Indian Oil signs consortium agreement to carry out pre-project activities

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), India's largest oil marketing company, announced that the company, Bharat Petroleum Corporation and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation signed a Consortium Agreement on December 07, 2016 to carry out pre-project activities for setting up of West Coast Refinery and a Petrochemical Project of approximately 60 MMTPA capacity in the state of Maharashtra through a joint venture company.

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 22.79% to 4,796,134 compared with 22-day average volume of 3,906,081.

Shares of the company gained Rs 8.2, or 2.78%, to settle at Rs 303.55. The total volume of shares traded was 410,893 at the BSE (Wednesday).
