Indian Hume Pipe Company on Thursday announced that the company has secured work order of Rs 1.22 billion from Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam Maryadit, Bhopal (a government of Madhya Pradesh undertaking), has for the Bankpura Multi Village Rural Water Supply Scheme for 120 villages of block-Biaora, District-Raigarh (M.P).
 
The project is to be completed within 24 months from the date of issue of Letter of Acceptance (LoA).

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 73.01% to 9,509 compared with 22-day average volume of 35,233.

Shares of the company gained Rs 7.65, or 1.84%, to trade at Rs 423.95. The total volume of shares traded was 9,509 at the BSE (1.30 p.m., Thursday).
