IMP Powers said Monday the company has been awarded an order of 35 units of assorted ratings of 2,900 MVA transformers amounting to Rs 820 million approx. of the contract value from TSTRANSCO Telangana, to be delivered within the current financial year.
IMP is a manufacturer of quality EHV, power, distribution, special purpose, furnace, thyristor duty transformers and reactors up to 315 MVA in 400 kV class.
Shares of the company gained Rs 5.4, or 6.62%, to trade at Rs 87. The total volume of shares traded was 6,985 at the BSE (1.30 p.m., Monday).
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 863.48% to 17,107 compared with 22-day average volume of 1,776.
