Himachal Futuristic Communication (HFCL) has received the purchase order worth Rs 12.48 billion (approx) from Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL), New Delhi for DWDM equipments to be installed on pan India basis for the defence forces (under Network For Spectrum programme).

The order value for material and services is Rs 9.35 billion and Rs 3.13 billion is for Annual Maintenance Contract.

The turnkey project has to be commissioned within fifteen months. Thereafter the company has to provide warranty support for three years and annual maintenance services for seven years after warranty.

Shares of the company gained Rs 1.15, or 3.76%, to trade at Rs 31.75. The total volume of shares traded was 3,272,625 at the BSE (10.00 a.m., Tuesday).
