HDFC Bank, one of the leading private sector lenders, announced that the bank has allotted 13,73,500 equity shares to the employees of the bank pursuant to exercise of options under its Employees Stock Options Schemes (ESOS).

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly increase from Rs 4834.81 million to Rs 4837.56 million.

Shares of the bank gained Rs 13.80, or 1.35%, to trade at  Rs 1,034.95 at the BSE (10.18 a.m., Friday).
