HCL Technologies, one of the leading software exporters, lost Rs 174.70 billion in market value on Thursday after the company said the revenue growth is likely to be tepid for September quarter. The company sees impact on revenues due to adverse currency, a client specific issue and skewness in revenue growth due to transition timelines for complex engagements particularly in infrastructure services.
At the BSE, HCL Technologies plunged 12.65% to settle at Rs 857.90. The market value went down to Rs 1,206.39 billion from Rs 1,381.08 billion on Wednesday.
