Edelweiss Financial Services, one of India's leading financial services groups, announced that the share allotment committee of the board of directors of the company has allotted 52,37,275 equity shares of the face value of Rs 1 each under Edelweiss Employee Stock Option Scheme(s) of the company.
Earlier, Edelweiss Alternative Asset Advisors announced the first closing of Singapore-based EW Special Opportunities Fund II (ESOF - II) at USD 205 million. ESOF - II is the successor fund to the USD 230 million, ESOF I, 2010 vintage and is being advised by Edelweiss Alternative Asset Advisors Pte. Singapore. It will seek to invest in privately-negotiated collateralized credit transactions with a focus on earning strong risk-adjusted returns.
Shares of the company declined Rs 0.05, or 0.08%, to trade at Rs 63.80. The total volume of shares traded was 56,486 at the BSE (9.55 a.m., Friday).
