Duke Offshore has been awarded another new contract for its high speed boat Duke 3. The contract has been awarded by a multinational dredging company and will commence at the beginning of the next month.

The award of this contract signifies the faith foreign clients have in company's services, high safety standards and on schedule performance placing the company as arguably a domestic market leader in high speed patrol vessels and crew transportation.

Shares of the company gained Rs 7.75, or 8.2%, to trade at Rs 102.25. The total volume of shares traded was 14,825 at the BSE (2.04 p.m., Wednesday).
