Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals has entered into an agreement with GAIL (India) for purchase of gas. The gas is being purchased mainly for new urea plant of the company being set up at the existing site at Gadepan, District Kota, Rajasthan.
The annual contracted quantity is 24955 billion British Thermal Units on Gross calorific value basis.
Shares of the Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals gained Rs 0.35, or 0.28%, to trade at Rs 127.30. The total volume of shares traded was 233,286 at the BSE (3.15 p.m., Wednesday).
Shares of the GAIL (India) declined Rs 0.6, or 0.16%, to trade at Rs 381.00. The total volume of shares traded was 453,345 at the BSE (3.18 p.m., Wednesday).
